The PE and Sports Premium is designed to help primary schools improve the quality of the PE and sports activities they offer their pupils.

2017/2018 Funding Allocation: £16,000

Sports Premium Action Plan

88% of our Year Six pupils achieved the expected 25 metres in swimming this year (2017/2018)



2016/2017 Funding Allocation:  £8,650


PE and Sports Premium is being used as follows:

To purchase ‘REAL PE’ staff training and resources - a skill based curriculum resource in line with the new curriculum. The resource focuses on the ‘whole child’ and will run alongside traditional PE sessions.  All staff will be trained to deliver the curriculum resource which will impact on the provision of high quality PE. £2,500
To purchase new PE equipment - to support delivery of high quality PE.  £3,000
To train and develop pupils as Sports Leaders and Schools Sport Organising Crew - to involve and develop pupils in leading active sessions at break-times; planning and delivering sporting competitions and festivals and; promoting PE to parents through newsletters and the school website.  £500
To purchase new sports kit for the school - to enable pupils to be confident and take pride in representing the school at a variety of different sporting events.  £1,000
To access competitive sporting events - to provide pupils with opportunities to participate and achieve in competitive sports against other schools.  £1,000
To create links with Sports Clubs - to foster and encourage accessing sport in the wider community.  £650
