Hetton Primary School new build
Robertsons have started work on building us all our new school. The school is going to be situated on our current school field which has been out of action since the summer holidays. For those of you who have been onto the school yard, you may have had a look through the different shaped windows on the fencing, which gives us a sneaky peek onto the field.
It has been amazing to see how our school has changed over the last few months - new pathway to the school office, additional car parking spaces for staff, our very own Hetton 'stack' for the new build team to work from, digger after digger after digger, driving up onto the field with the odd large crane and steel works for us to see too!!
Thursday 18th November saw the very first steel be bolted into place as our new school starts to take shape! The next 3 weeks will see this grow into the framework of our new school...and we can't wait!

We have worked hard behind the scenes for a number of months to ensure that the building and grounds will offer first class facilities, to support us in our vision to be 'the BEST that we can be'.
