Nursery Admissions 

We have free 15 hour & 30 hour Nursery places available for children who are 3 years old. Remember, you can register your child anytime, give us a ring on 0191 5623323 or send us an email to discuss enrolling: office@hettonprimary.org.uk

All Reception Class admissions are made direct to the local Authority - please follow the link at the bottom of the page.

We understand that choosing a school for your child is an important decision and, to help you make an informed choice, we are keen to provide you with the opportunity to find out more about our school. If you would like to arrange a visit to meet with Mrs Hill (Head Teacher) and look around our school please telephone Mrs Hamilton, our school administrator, who will be happy to organise this for you.

There are effective induction procedures in place for pupils joining our school, including meeting with pupils and parents/carers, pre-visits and sharing of information. We feel it is important that pupils, parents/carers and the school are well informed, so that pupils and parents/carers feel confident and comfortable with the school and the school is able to quickly and effectively meet pupil’s personal and academic needs.
