Welcome to our Summer Term in Year 6!

30th April

Today would have been Captain Sir Tom's 101st birthday and the one year anniversary since his famous walk that raised an incredible £38.9 million for the NHS. Today we celebrated his life and honoured his memory by taking on our own Captain Tom 100 challenge. The children were given a challenge to make 100 as many ways as they could using only the numbers given. They even found more ways than me!

I've been super impressed with some of the children in Year 6 this week.

They set up their own yoga club on a playtime and lunchtime and have been really enjoying it.

It's lovely to see them being so independent and sensible. They are fantastic role models.
