2024 - 2025
Friday 7th March
Today we celebrated Girls Football Day in school. Our KS2 Children took part in a football tournament which saw them play against each other in group matches and resulting in a final which the whole school came out to watch. The final was between England and Spain, congratulations to Spain who won 2-0.
A big thank you to the two Year 6 boys who refereed all of the matches. What a fantastic afternoon!

Our KS1 girls took part in a range of activities linked to football led by our Year 6 boys who demonstrated their leadership skills. The girls all received a medal for taking part and some special medals were awarded for children who showed excellent skills, sportsmanship and resilience. Well done KS1, we were so impressed with you!

Our youngest girls all the way down in nursery also took part in our girls football day.
They had a wonderful time and loved receiving their medals. A wonderful lesson!
