Here is an overview of what Year 5 will be learning in Autumn term 1 this year.

Geography - investigating water as a resource and issues with water around the world. We also looked at water sustainability.

Literacy - creating our own expanded noun phrases based on Phillipe Petit's tight-rope walk between the two towers.
Literacy - Planning a biography about the life of Phillipe Petit.
Reading - making comparisons between characters we have been introduced to in the story 'The Good Thieves' by Katherine Rundell
RE - What do stories from the Bible tell us about God?
Week 2
English - investigating relative clauses and dialogue.
Geography - Looking at renewable and non-renewable energy sources.
Week 1
In RE this week we have been looking at what a God should be like. We used these terms to build our own God.
