WORLD MENTAL HEALTH DAY 2025
On Friday 10th October, we helped to raise awareness by taking part in HELLO YELLOW Day! This is to show that young people are not alone when it comes to mental health.

NSPCC Kindness Challenge 2025
This week, our assembly was all about the NSPCC, why it is a charity, what this means and the work that they do.
The children were reminded about ChildLine and the number 0800 1111.
They were then set 4 challenges across the week and I can't wait to share them with you!
Thank you to all of the children and staff who gave their opinion on the following 4 questions.
What powers would a kindness superhero have?
Love
Patience
Respect
Understanding
The ability to cheer someone up and make them laugh
The power to heal
Love coming from their eyes
Helping poorly people
Stopping meanness
Friendliness
What could we do to make the world a kinder place?
Be more eco-friendly and recycle more
No more murder and no more robbing
No bullying
Don’t be mean
Don’t fight
Be more friendly
Community work
No littering
Be kinder
Be kind and be safe
Play nicely
Be respectful
Do not be rude to others
Be amazing
No more falling out
Help people
Don’t say mean words
Don’t litter in the sea
Crime was never a thing
If kindness was a colour, what colour would it be?
Blue, purple, pink because it is soft and friendly, orange, yellow as kindness means warmth, white because it is powerful, Sky blue, light yellow, green, silver, light blue, diamond, pink because it makes me happy, baby blue, violet, dark blue, gold, sunny yellow, sea-blue, red because it means happiness, orange.
What’s the kindest thing you’ve ever done for someone?
Helped Ava
Helped each other,
Played with younger children,
Given my mam flowers,
Played with someone I don’t usually play with,
Share
Helped others overcome fears,
Give hugs,
Helped to make people feel safe
Shared the scooters outside,
Put my neighbour’s bin out
If only we had the power to make these come true? Or do we?
World Kindness Day!
Saturday 13th November 2021
Make kindness the norm
The focus for Anti-Bullying Week was 'one kind word.' Our celebration assembly on 19th November celebrated all of the kindness we have in our school....and there is so much to shout about!
Watch the video below - if we could all 'fill our bucket' then the world would be a better place.
Sunday 10th October is World Mental Health Day!
